Ski flying world cup in Vikersund

Very cool experience today in Vikersund for the Ski Flying World Cup!  Impressive jumps (over 230 meters)!

Walk around Jonsknuten

Temperatures are on the rise, and we still have lots of snow!  Walked around Knutehytta and Jonsknuten today.  Kids had fun with their one-skis down some of the paths.

Vikersund hoppsenter - ski jump

Gorgeous winter day here in Kongsberg.  Cold, but beautiful sunshine.  We went to Vikersund to see the ski jump area, one of the largest in the world.  VERY impressive.  That's where the current world record was set at 251.50 meters...  CRAZY!

Sunday morning run/walk with the kids by -3C...  Followed the path of a frozen river behind the house.  AWESOME!

Saturday morning, from the balcony...  Ski slopes should be opening some time next week.
